The suite with bathroom accessories and a huge shower was elegant. the hotel is situated in a secluded location in a delightful conservatory. - the staff was really kind and provided exceptional services.

We were amazed that there only appeared to be one member of staff outside the kitchen. He was very helpful and did very well managing the reception, bar and waiting at table - but this was not quite what we expected at a hotel of this price and type. Not sure how he would have managed with more people staying. Room rather stuffy and claustrophobic. Hot water unreliable in basin (fine in shower). Website says all rooms have bathrooms, ours had a shower room.

The superior king room with lovely Molton Brown products and the setup was enjoyable, plus the quiet location was absolutely perfect for me.

The hot tub, swimming pool and gourmet restaurant were very good. Staff were helpful and the setting was good.

The rooms were dark and not easily accessible - we needed to change our room from one that was in an annexe some distance from the main house because we could hear the family next door. The staff helpfully changed our room to one that was a distance from the reception area, near the pool and we were satisfied with this as it was much quieter.

I was upgraded to a nice size and very well decorated standard queen room with a private terrace. the staff was friendly and efficient. - the location was peaceful and easy to access. - I could use free parking on site. - the area was superb.
